Northern Basque cuisine has a unique French influence. Learn about this rich culture and history and prepare a delicious menu with the guidance of guest chef Jean Flesher in this demonstrative and hands-on program:
Porrusalda leek and potato soup
Axoa veal stew with espelette pepper
Basque style roast duck with potatoes fried in duck fat
Short cake with rum marinated peaches and cream

What to Expect: We’ll start with an introduction and discussion of the Basque culture and history, followed by cooking demonstrations by the chef and hands-on preparations by the participants. When we finish cooking we’ll eat together. Please specify during ticket registration if you have any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions.
