Enjoyed socially and absolutely delicious, “pintxos” are the Basque take on Spanish “tapas,” or small plates. This hands-on program will teach participants four unique pintxo recipes. We’ll also discuss the traditions and history of Basque culture. After cooking we’ll sit down for a shared meal! Ticket price includes one glass of wine; additional beverages available for purchase. What to Expect: We’ll start with an introduction and discussion of the Basque culture and history. At this event you will get to meet some local experts who will share their recipes of classic and contemporary Basque cuisine. Participants will then work collaboratively in groups to prepare the pintxos. When we finish cooking we’ll eat together.
